Calendar & Deadlines
View assigned deadlines, monitor hearing schedules, check lawyer availability, and manage reminder notifications.

Overview
The calendar in AdlDesk keeps you informed about your assigned deadlines, case hearings, and the availability of lawyers you work with. As a paralegal you have view access — you can see all relevant events but you cannot create hearings or firm-wide calendar entries. Reminders will notify you before critical dates so nothing falls through.
Viewing Assigned Deadlines
Open Calendar from the sidebar. Your personal deadline events appear highlighted in the calendar. These include task due dates assigned to you and any filing or submission deadlines linked to your cases. Switch between Month, Week, and Day views using the buttons in the top-right corner of the calendar panel.
Hearings Schedule
Hearing events are shown in a distinct color on the calendar. Click on any hearing entry to see the details: case name, court, chamber number, session type, and the attending lawyer. You can view the full hearings list for any case from the Hearings tab inside that case. You cannot add, edit, or cancel hearing entries — only lawyers and firm admins have that permission.
Lawyer Availability
When preparing documents or scheduling tasks that require a lawyer review, use the Team Availability overlay by clicking the team icon at the top of the calendar. This shows the schedule of lawyers you work with, allowing you to plan handoffs without causing conflicts.
Reminder Notifications
AdlDesk automatically sends in-app notifications and, if enabled by your firm, email reminders before your assigned deadlines. Default reminder windows are 24 hours and 1 hour before the deadline. You will receive a notification badge in the header bar and a notification in the bell icon panel. Click any notification to jump directly to the related task or hearing.
