Overview

The Receptionist Dashboard is your command center for managing the daily flow of clients and appointments at your law firm. At a glance it shows you today's schedule, new client activity, and pending intake tasks — everything you need to keep the front office running smoothly.

KPI Cards

Four metric cards appear at the top of the dashboard:

  • Today's Appointments — The number of scheduled consultations and meetings for today. Click the card to jump to the day view in the calendar showing all appointment details.
  • New Clients This Week — Clients registered since the start of the current week. This helps you track intake volume and identify busy periods.
  • Pending Intake Forms — Clients who have been registered but whose intake information is incomplete. These require follow-up to gather missing details such as national ID or address.
  • Upcoming Consultations — Consultations scheduled within the next 48 hours across all lawyers. Useful for preparing the reception area and notifying the relevant lawyer in advance.

Quick Action: New Client Registration

A prominent Register New Client button is displayed on the dashboard. Click it to open the client intake form immediately without navigating to the Clients section. This shortcut is designed for walk-in situations where speed matters.

Today's Agenda

Below the KPI cards, the dashboard displays a chronological list of today's appointments with client name, appointment time, type of meeting, and the lawyer responsible. Use this list to greet arriving clients by name and direct them to the correct office or meeting room.

Tip: Keep the dashboard open on your reception screen throughout the day. It refreshes automatically so you always have the latest appointment information without manually reloading.
Important: The dashboard reflects confirmed appointments only. If a client arrives without an appointment, use the Register New Client button and note in the client record that it was a walk-in visit so the lawyer is aware.
