Accessing Notification Settings
Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar, then click the Notifications tab. The page is divided into notification categories, each containing individual toggles and sub-settings.

Case Updates
This group controls alerts related to case activity:
- New Case Assignment — notify me when a case is assigned to me or a member of my team.
- Case Status Change — alert when any case I am involved in changes status.
- Hearing Reminder — configurable lead time: choose to be reminded 1 day before, 2 days before, or both. The reminder fires at 8:00 AM on the selected day.
Financial Alerts
Controls notifications tied to financial events:
- Payment Received — alert when a client payment is recorded against one of your firm's invoices.
- Invoice Overdue — notify me when an invoice passes its due date without a full payment being registered.
- Low Treasury Balance — optional threshold alert; set a minimum balance amount and receive a warning when the treasury falls below it.
Calendar Reminders
Controls reminders for calendar events:
- Event Reminder (1 day before) — a morning reminder the day before any calendar event where you are listed as an attendee.
- Event Reminder (1 hour before) — an in-app pop-up notification one hour before the event starts.
- Task Due Today — a daily digest at 9:00 AM listing all tasks due today across your active cases.
Chat Notifications
- New Message — alert for any new message in a conversation where you are a participant.
- Mention — alert only when someone explicitly @mentions your name in a message.
Email Notifications
Each category group has an Email sub-toggle that independently controls whether the notification is also sent to your registered email address. You can receive in-app notifications without email, email only, both, or neither — configure each category independently.
Browser Push Notifications
For real-time alerts even when the browser tab is in the background, click Enable Browser Notifications at the top of the Notifications tab. Your browser will request permission — click Allow. Once enabled, a bell icon in the browser toolbar confirms the permission. To revoke, use your browser's site settings.
Quiet Hours
To prevent notifications outside of working hours, enable Quiet Hours at the bottom of the Notifications tab. Set a start time (e.g., 10:00 PM) and end time (e.g., 7:00 AM). All push and in-app notifications will be silenced during this window; email notifications are unaffected by quiet hours.
