Overview of Export Options

AdlDesk provides data export functionality on most list pages and throughout the Reports module. No additional software is required — exports download directly to your device in the selected format.

Reports page with Export PDF and Export Excel buttons

Reports Module Exports

The Reports page (sidebar → Reports) offers the most comprehensive export options:

  • Export PDF — generates a formatted A4 report including all KPI summary cards and chart images for the selected time period. Suitable for sharing with partners or printing for client meetings.
  • Export Excel — downloads a multi-sheet XLSX workbook with one sheet per chart (raw data tables) plus a KPI summary sheet. Ideal for custom analysis or importing into accounting software.

Apply your desired time period and any filters before clicking Export to ensure the exported data matches what you see on screen.

Cases Table Export

On the Cases page, click the Export button (top-right, next to New Case). The export includes all columns currently visible in the table — Case Number, Title, Client, Type, Status, Priority, Assigned Lawyer, Next Hearing Date, and Created Date — for every row matching the active filters. The file is delivered as a CSV, which opens directly in Excel or Google Sheets.

Clients Export

The Clients page has an Export button that exports all clients matching the current filter (type, status, alphabet filter) as a CSV. Fields included: Name (Arabic), Name (English), Type, National ID / Registration, Phone, Email, Address, Status, and Case Count.

Financial Page Exports

Each sub-section of the Financial module has its own export button:

  • Invoices — export invoices list as Excel; each invoice row includes client, amount, status, due date, and payment received.
  • Payments — export payment log as Excel with all columns.
  • Expenses — export expense records as Excel, grouped by category in a summary sheet.
  • Treasury — export the full transaction log as Excel with running balance column.

Individual Invoice PDFs

To download a single invoice as a client-ready PDF, open any invoice from the Invoices list and click the Download PDF button at the top-right. The PDF is formatted with your firm's logo, branch address, client details, line items, and payment instructions.

Tip: Always apply filters before exporting to get focused data subsets. For example, filter Invoices by Status = Overdue and Date = This Month before exporting to produce an aged-debtor report for collection follow-up.
Important: Exported files may contain sensitive client and financial data. Do not share export files over unsecured channels such as unencrypted email or public file-sharing links.
