Accessing Reports & Analytics
Click Reports in the left sidebar. The page loads your firm's analytics dashboard with a period selector and six KPI cards followed by four interactive charts.

Selecting a Time Period
At the top-right of the reports page, use the period selector to choose the analysis window:
- This Week — current Monday to Sunday.
- This Month — current calendar month.
- This Quarter — current Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4.
- This Year — current calendar year.
- Custom Range — opens a date-range picker for any start and end date.
All KPI cards and charts update instantly when you change the period.
KPI Cards
Six KPI cards display headline metrics for the selected period:
- Total Cases — all cases created or active during the period.
- Won Cases — cases closed with status closed_won.
- Revenue — total amount from paid invoices.
- Collection Rate — percentage of invoiced amounts actually collected.
- Active Clients — clients with at least one active case in the period.
- Avg Case Duration — average number of days from case creation to closure for closed cases.
Analytics Charts
Four charts provide deeper insights:
- Cases by Status (pie chart) — proportion of cases in each status (open, in_progress, pending_hearing, etc.).
- Cases by Type (bar chart) — count of cases per legal area (civil, criminal, commercial, etc.).
- Revenue Over Time (line chart) — monthly revenue trend for the selected period with previous-period comparison.
- Lawyer Performance (horizontal bar chart) — number of cases and revenue generated per assigned lawyer, allowing objective comparison.
Exporting Reports
Two export buttons appear at the top-right of the Reports page:
- Export PDF — generates a formatted A4 PDF report including all KPI cards and chart images, suitable for presenting to firm partners.
- Export Excel — downloads a multi-sheet XLSX file with raw data tables for each chart and the KPI values, suitable for further analysis.
Tip: Run the Lawyer Performance report quarterly to identify workload imbalances and distribute case assignments more equitably across your team.
