Accessing Client Information
From any case detail page, the Overview tab displays a client information card on the right-hand side. This card shows the client's name, phone, email, and their link to the case. It is the starting point for all client-related actions.

Sending a Message
If the client has been invited to the AdlDesk client portal:
- Click the Message button on the client card.
- A chat panel opens with the conversation history for this client.
- Type your message and press Send.
- The client will receive a notification and can reply through their portal.
If the client portal is not enabled for your firm, the Message button is replaced with a phone or email link.
Viewing Client Records
Clicking the client's name opens their full client profile, which contains:
- Cases List — all cases linked to this client (across all lawyers in the firm).
- Payment History — invoices sent and payments received.
- Documents Shared — files shared with the client through the portal.
- Contact Details — phone numbers, email, and address.
Updating Contact Information
From the client profile page, click the Edit button to update:
- Phone numbers (primary and secondary)
- Email address
- Mailing address
- National ID or commercial registration number
Internal Notes
The client profile includes an Internal Notes section. Notes added here are visible only to team members inside AdlDesk — they are never displayed to the client in the portal. Use this for sensitive observations, billing instructions, or communication preferences.
