Your Personal Workspace

The Lawyer Dashboard is your command center inside AdlDesk. Everything shown here is scoped exclusively to your assignments — you will never see cases or tasks that belong to other team members unless you are explicitly added to them.

KPI Cards

Four key performance cards greet you at the top of the page:

• My Active Cases — total cases currently open or in progress assigned to you.
• My Upcoming Hearings (7 days) — court sessions scheduled within the next seven days.
• My Pending Tasks — tasks in todo or in_progress status assigned to you.
• My Overdue Items — tasks and deadlines whose due date has passed without completion, highlighted in red.

Recent Updates Feed

Below the KPI cards, a chronological activity feed shows the latest changes across your cases: new documents uploaded, hearing outcomes recorded, client messages received, and status transitions. Click any feed item to jump directly to the relevant record.

Quick Actions

Three prominent buttons let you create new records without navigating away:

1. New Case — opens the case creation form pre-filled with your name as the assigned lawyer.
2. Add Hearing — lets you schedule a court session and link it to an existing case.
3. Create Task — creates a task you can assign to yourself or a paralegal.

Today's Calendar Widget

The bottom section of the dashboard displays a mini calendar widget showing today's events: hearings, meetings, task deadlines, and custom reminders. Click any event for full details or click an empty time slot to add a new event.
