Accessing Hearings
Hearings in AdlDesk are managed at the case level. Open any case, then click the Hearings tab to see all court sessions associated with that matter.

Hearings Table
The table displays key columns for each session:
- Date & Time — the scheduled date and time of the session.
- Court — the court name and chamber.
- Room / Hall — the specific courtroom or hall number.
- Judge — the presiding judge's name.
- Status — Scheduled, Completed, Adjourned, or Cancelled.
- Notes — a brief summary or internal comments.
Adding a New Hearing
- In the Hearings tab, click Add Hearing.
- Fill in the required fields: Date, Time, Court Name, Room Number.
- Optionally add the Judge Name and Notes.
- Click Save. The new hearing immediately appears in your dashboard calendar.
Recording Hearing Outcomes
After a session has taken place:
- Click the hearing row to open its detail panel.
- Change the status to Completed or Adjourned.
- Enter the outcome notes — judgment issued, next action required, evidence requested, etc.
- If adjourned, set the next hearing date. AdlDesk will auto-create a new hearing entry for the next session.
- Click Save.
Calendar Integration
All saved hearings automatically appear on the Calendar page and in the dashboard's Today widget. You will also receive a reminder notification before each scheduled session based on your notification preferences.
Tip: Enter the judge's name for each hearing. This builds a history that helps you prepare arguments and anticipate the procedural style of judges you appear before regularly.
Important: Changing a hearing status to Adjourned and setting a next date auto-creates the follow-up entry, but you should verify the new date matches the official court order before saving.
